Bob Roland, our Family Ministry Pastor, Dee Goar, our Licensed Professional Counselor, and Mike McCrum, our Care Ministry Pastor, are available for counseling appointments. Dee Goar is also available to counsel people from the community for a modest fee.

Meet our experienced and qualified Counseling Staff
Bob is the Family Ministry Pastor on our staff. He has a Bachelors degree from Northeastern Bible College, a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and completed course study toward a doctorate at Reformed Theological Seminary. He has many years of pastoral counseling experience.
In addition to personal counseling, Bob teaches courses on marriage and parenting, and Adult Elective classes offered on Sunday mornings. Bob serves on the Directional Leadership Team at FBC. He and his wife Jeanne, havebeen married over forty years, and have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Dee is a licensed, professional counselor with a Masters Degree in counseling, and joined the staff of FBC in 1995 with a long list of credentials.
Before moving to Atlanta, she was the Director of Bergamo Counseling Center in Dayton, Ohio and prior to that served as the Director of the Women's Crisis Center and on the clinical faculty of Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. She was a therapist with Alpha Care Christian Therapy Service here in Atlanta from 1989 to 1997. She and her husband, Larry, have three adult children.

Care Ministry Pastor
Mike received his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has an earned doctorate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Pastoral Care for the 21st Century. Mike has been a pastor, teacher, counselor, and conference speaker in the Atlanta area since 1986. He has ministered in Brazil, Mexico, Trinidad, Singapore, Malaysia, Belgium, Romania, and Russia. Mike is also an associate professor at Beulah Heights University in Atlanta.
His passion is to help people discover the reality and sufficiency of Jesus Christ. Mike’s heart beats pastoral ministry. He loves to encourage those who hurt. His role as Care Ministry Pastor includes pastor on call (POC) for crisis situations, requests for prayer, continued care, hospital visitation, and counseling.
Mike and his wife Debbie have been married since 1975. The McCrums reside in Woodstock near their four children and five grandchildren.
