Stephen Ministry Leadership

Larry Goar
Larry Goar

Director of Stephen Ministry

Larry received his BA degree in Accounting from Florida State University and his MBA degree in Industrial Management from Ohio State University. He joined the Fellowship staff in 1991 as the Church Business Administrator. After ten years in that position, he spent two years writing church policies and facilitating leadership development. He was on the Guiding Elder Board at Fellowship for eight years.

In 2003, Larry was ordained to begin a Care Ministry. He now leads the Stephen Ministry as a volunteer. Prior to joining the staff at Fellowship, Larry was a Colonel in the United States Air Force where he was responsible for administering civilian contracts for the Department of Defense.

He lives in Marietta with his wife Dee and has three adult children. His passion is to encourage the church to not only spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, but to love and care for one another so that no one at Fellowship Bible Church ever hurts alone.
