Life on Life Discipleship

Jesus’ own pattern of disciple-making was to be intimately involved with others and allow life to rub against life. Life on Life discipleship groups are made up of three or four people of the same gender who meet together weekly to hold each other accountable for spiritual growth and transformation. These triads or quads serve as  “hot-houses” of Christian growth because they maximize conditions that produce accelerated spiritual growth.

Each group, led by an identified leader, seeks to have three ingredients exercised in a balanced way that release the Holy Spirit to bring about a rapid growth toward Christ-likeness: (1) open our hearts in transparent trust to each other, (2) around the truth of God’s Word, and (3) in the spirit of mutual accountability. Groups commit to a year long process that meets three primary objectives: (1) Walk with God, (2) Reach the lost, and (3) invest in a few.

Jesus had a big vision to think small. Focusing on a few did not limit his influence. Rather, it expanded it.  Life on Life discipleship is designed to help us influence others as Jesus did --- by investing in a few.
