High capacity - High Skill
Fellowship Journey Group Leader:
The ideal Journey Group leader would have 3 to 5 hours a week to give to the folks in their group. It would be optimum if they could meet weekly. The group would check on each other to determine how everyone is doing emotionally, spiritually, financially and physically. Most importantly that they would hold one another accountable in their job search efforts. The group is to be a safe place. The facilitator needs good listening skills, decent admin skills, a big heart AND WISDOM.
Dinner speakers with a story and testimony that would be encouraging to those who are on job transition are welcome and needed on a regular basis.
Roswell United Methodist Church Workshop leaders:
Those who can present job search skills enhancement in a workshop presentation. In addition, volunteers that are qualified to help with some of the RUMC Workshops are welcome.
Lighter capacity- Broader Skills
Roswell United Methodist Church Table Hosts:
These folks need to be available the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 5:45 to 7:00. They care for, listen to, and encourage the people God puts at their table. They need to be able to facilitate a discussion around speakers key verses and work through his questions.
Roswell United Methodist Church Prayer warriors:
Prayer Warriors are welcome in the Chapel every 2nd and 4th Monday from about 6:30 to 8:30.
Roswell United Methodist Church has 140 Industry Guides. Fellowship volunteers could greatly enhance the numbers and the efforts in this area of need.
